Dr. Rudaina is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Sidra Medicine and Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weil Cornell Medical College Qatar. She graduated from Kings College London, and undertook her training in the United Kingdom, and is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has advanced training in reproductive medicine, endoscopic surgery and ultrasound. Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, she was a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospital of Wales, United Kingdom.

As an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist, she provides care to women with complex pregnancies as well as those with gynecological disorders and menopause related health matters. She has a keen interest in simulation training and is actively involved in Sidra women’s simulation program to ensure continuous safe clinical care for women.

Dr. Spyridon Chouliaras

Dr. Spyridon Chouliaras is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Sidra Medicine who specializes in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery.

He has more than 20 years of experience in women’s health and is passionate about providing holistic, expert care to couples experiencing subfertility as well as women with general gynecological problems. After obtaining his medical degree Dr Chouliaras completed extensive higher specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the United Kingdom. He underwent Advanced Training in Subfertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester, a world class specialized University hospital for Women and Children. Subsequently he completed a fellowship in the Assisted Conception Unit of the historic, renowned St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London where he specialized further in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Medhat AlBerry is an Attending Physician at Sidra Medicine. He has years of experience as a Consultant in fetal and maternal medicine and obstetrics.

He joined Sidra Medicine in November 2017 and has vast experience in managing low and high-risk pregnancies. His areas of expertise in Fetal Medicine include fetal growth restriction, multiple pregnancies, fetal congenital abnormalities, non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), and invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villous sampling (CVS) and 3D/4D ultrasound.

Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Alberry practiced in the UK for 12 years in a number of major maternal fetal medicine/Obstetrics units such as Cambridge University Hospital, Birmingham Heartland’s Hospital and others.

Dr. Ibrahim Ibrahim

Dr. Ibrahim Joined Sidra as a Senior Attending Physician in Endocrinology in May 2017 and is currently the lead for Diabetes in pregnancy in the Hospital. He has vast experience in managing All endocrine conditions, including thyroid disorders, calcium and osteoporosis, pituitary disorders, prolactin, and reproductive Endocrinology. He has a special interest in Obesity and weight management and the role of new technology in the management of Diabetes and set up new services in Sidra Medicine.

Dr. Haytham Ali

Senior Attending Physician - Neonatology Division

Dr. Haytham Ali received his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1994. He completed his training in general pediatrics in the United Kingdom. Following the completion of his training, he became a member and fellow of the Royal College of Pediatric and Child Health (MRCPH-FRCPCH) in 2005 and 2010, respectively. Dr. Ali has also completed subspecialty training in neonatal-perinatal medicine and was issued a Certificate of Completion of Training in Neonatology in 2010. He worked as consultant neonatologist in Leeds, UK and held the title of honorary senior lecturer in Leeds University, UK for 4 years before joining Sidra in 2014. Dr Ali is the lead for neonatal resuscitation in Sidra Medicine, he is an instructor in the Newborn Life Support (NLS) since 2009 and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) since 2017.

Dr. Ali’s main area of academic interest is in long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes of prematurity. He build experience through contribution to the follow-up studies of large population studies (EpiCure-2) and multicenter randomized controlled trial (BOOST-II UK). His other era of academic interest in infant nutrition and growth, Dr Ali has completed a research project using bioelectrical impedance analysis in preterm infants. Finally, as for his educational activities, Dr. Ali was intimately involved in undergraduate and postgraduate student education and contributed to the supervision of master’s research thesis before joining Sidra Medicine.

Sue has obtained BSc Nursing, MSc(Midwifery), PG Cert Education (Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Education-UCD-Ireland), Certificate in Prescribing(RCSI-Ireland). I am Registered-Nurse/Midwife, Midwife Tutor and Prescriber. I have a vast clinical and teaching experience over 26yrs. Joined Sidra in 2017 and at present working as Clinical Midwife Educator in Sidra medicine

Sue has earned her Post Graduate degree in Healthcare Education from University College Dublin, Ireland,a certified Prescriber from RCSI-Ireland,BSc Nursing and also had MSc Maternity Nursing Driven by a passion forteaching nursing and midwifery staff and students and has, actively engages in new educational teaching modalities and implements in her teaching initiatives and has presented Poster presentation in International Quality Initiatives USA in Qatar.

Sue is empathetic n approach and clinical acumen have earned her recognition both among her peers, the staff and students she serves. As a steadfast advocate for staff and students She continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those she works with. Sue is a dedicated and compassionate nurse and midwife brings a wealth of expertise to the field of teaching in nursing and midwifery.
