Abstract Submission Guidelines

Registrants are invited to submit abstract(s) of their work for presentation at the PMFG SUMMIT 2026. Submitted abstracts should contain original data that has not been previously published in a peer-reviewed journal or presented at a national meeting. Abstracts will only be considered if the presenting author has completed their registration and paid the associated fees.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Abstract Review Committee, and only those selected will be eligible for presentation. Abstract submissions must be made electronically through the designated submission portal; paper submissions will not be accepted.

The Scientific Abstract Review Committee has the sole right to select the oral presenters, poster presenters and award winners. All decisions of the Committee are final, and no further correspondence regarding these decisions will be entered into.

Eligibility: Original Research Only

Only original research presenting new data generated by the authors will be considered. The following will not be accepted:

  • Literature reviews, systematic reviews, meta-analyses or narrative overviews
  • Studies based solely on the analysis of publicly available datasets, without new data generated or collected by the authors
  • Research on topics outside the listed Abstract Topics
  • Opinion pieces, commentaries, editorials or policy statements without original data
  • Study protocols or proposals without results
  • Promotional or commercial content

Abstracts that do not meet these criteria will be rejected without review.
